Emoonlighter Continues Meteoric Growth Triple Digit Percentage Growth Seen in Three Areas for First Quarter 2003 vs. First Quarter 2002 Pittsburgh, PA - April 21, 2003 - Emoonlighter today announced triple digit percentage growth in three key metrics for the first quarter of 2003 compared to the first quarter of 2002. Triple digit percentage growth occurred in the number of: total projects posted, new employer sign-ups, and revenue dollars earned. Emoonlighter saw the total number of projects posted on its four specialized sites grow an amazing 329%. The number of new employers signing up to use the Emoonlighter online marketplace rose 177%, bringing the total amount of employers using Emoonlighter to over 27,000. Emoonlighter also realized a whopping 232% increase in revenue, despite the stagnant economy and impending global hostilities that impacted the first quarter of 2003. "Accomplishing these metrics, in what can be characterized as a fairly challenging economic climate, gives our team tremendous confidence going forward," said Inder Guglani, Emoonlighter's CEO and Co-Founder. "Our progress provides further evidence that the migration of the marketplace for freelance and contract talent from offline to online platforms is well underway." Contributing to Emoonlighter's growth in the first quarter of 2003 versus the previous year's first quarter was the addition of new features that benefited both employers and professionals using the marketplace. These new features included:  • increasing the number of categories available on CREATIVEmoonlighter and OFFICEmoonlighter,
• improving employers' "search for professionals" and "post a project" forms,
• enabling employers to email all of the professionals at once who have responded to a project, and
• including money-earned as a factor in professional search result rankings.
To maintain its strong growth, Emoonlighter will implement additional features to meet the demands of the growing user base. These new features include: • improving professionals' searches for projects,
• enabling pros to bid on projects not in their local area,
• developing new communications tools for employers and professionals, and
• implementing a direct deposit system for employers and professionals.
