Emoonlighter Acquires Guru.com Employer Membership Base Acquisition Creates World's Largest Online Marketplace for Freelance Talent Pittsburgh, PA - July 1, 2003 - Emoonlighter today announced it has finalized an agreement to acquire the employer membership base of Guru.com, a popular online marketplace for freelance talent located in the Silicon Valley. The acquisition of Guru's employer membership base combined with Emoonlighter's existing client base of employers and freelance professionals creates the world's largest online marketplace for freelance talent. In addition to the employer membership base, Emoonlighter also obtains the domain name "www.guru.com." These acquired assets will be merged with Emoonlighter's online marketplace for freelance talent. Per agreement, financial terms of the acquisition will remain confidential. Those employers registered on Guru who wish not to transition their account to Emoonlighter or who already have an Emoonlighter account will be given an opportunity to "opt out" of having an Emoonlighter account created for them. Over the next several weeks, traffic on Guru's website will be redirected to Emoonlighter's website. Emoonlighter will officially adopt the Guru name on January 1, 2004.
