Emoonlighter Recognized as Technology Industry Leader for Second Consecutive Year Emoonlighter Named Pittsburgh Technology Council Service Provider Industry Leader Pittsburgh, PA - October 22, 2003 - Emoonlighter, the world's largest online marketplace for freelance talent, was named the Pittsburgh Technology Council's Tech 50 Service Provider Industry Leader at the Council's Sixth Annual Tech 50 awards ceremony. The ceremony was held on October 16, 2003 at the Carnegie Music Hall in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Each year, the Pittsburgh Technology Council recognizes the leading 50 technology-oriented companies in southwestern Pennsylvania. Ten companies are acknowledged in each of the following five industry categories: Advanced Manufacturing, Biomedical, Information Technology, Service Providers, and Rising Star. One industry leader is selected in each category. Those named to the Tech 50 must demonstrate their success in six key areas: revenue growth, job growth and retention, corporate citizenship, research and development, innovative product/technology, and new product development. "It is a great accomplishment to be judged an industry leader for two years in a row," said Emoonlighter CEO and Co-Founder Inder Guglani. "Last year, we were judged the industry leader in the Rising Star category. The Tech 50 was selected by an independent panel of judges comprised of individuals from Pittsburgh Technology Council member organizations. Judges reviewed nomination forms from hundreds of private and publicly traded technology companies headquartered within the 13-county southwestern Pennsylvania region.
