The delete account link is in the right-hand column of this page: http://www.guru.com/pro/pro_account_delete.cfm

I think the confusion arose because it isn't in the "other" page that is called 'My Account'.

1. From the My Account page, select “Delete Account.” 2. Confirm that you would like to delete your http://Guru.com account.

I need to change from freelancer to employer.

Can I cancel freelancer account, then immediately create employer account with the SAME EMAIL ADDRESS?

Exactly where is the 'Delete Account' option on the My Accounts page? The only options I have on that page is to modify my account details, but I want to completely delete the account. Advise, thanks.

In the right-hand column, under "Manage Accounts", you should see "Delete Accounts".
