Is there an escrow account i can use?

I would rather put my money in an escrow account until the project is done then give it directly to the vendor.

Hi Karlous,

That would be the Safepay service. It's a great place to start when you are working with someone new, or if you're not comfortable with using invoicing. For many, Safepay is the preferred way to do business.
When your project is posted and awarded, your chosen freelancer will set up the project agreement and forward it to you. Once that's approved, you can ask them to put a Safepay request in, rather than invoicing you later. You can make the deposit and then they will begin working.
You can set up milestones so that they are paid for partial delivery of the work if you like. Some projects lend themselves to this while others do not. It's very individual.
