Why do people post such vague questions

Am I the only one that finds it a bit annoying when someone will simply ask a question and not give any additional details or elaborate on the question? Can Guru PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make the content text block mandatory so more information has to be entered before you can submit. A little background info or even a couple of sentences would make it easier for the active members to chime in with answers.

In example... The question about the company summary showing up in searches. How about including a link to the search results, or a brief explanation why its a problem or what they want the result to be. I posted a very vague answer (robots index guru therefore putting your company profile into the search engines).

Hi Maarit,

I couldn't agree more! How do you provide helpful information when the question itself is unclear? It's also confusing at times because the subject lines can be interpreted in different ways. This issue ties back to the general idea that the Answers section is being used for project-specific financial questions and help desk or tech issues. Those should be placed elsewhere for obvious reasons.

In a perfect world we'd all be psychic and able to not only determine what the questions are, but answer them with lightening speed. Oh, and we'd also work for free...because in some circles, there is far too much emphasis on the "free" in Freelancer. (Sorry - an issue on another site that I'm dealing with. I'm grumpy.) What should we call ourselves....does PAYlancer work? Or how about FEElancer? ;)

Haha, I love paylancer and feelancer.... How about NeedToPayMyBillsLikeEveryoneElseLancer.

All I need is just a brief summary of what they want done or are seeking and I'm sure either you (Christine), Robin or myself could easily answer it or at least guide them in the right direction.

I can't imagine what Guru support emails looks like. I wonder if they just say "Help Me!" in the message and its up to customer support to figure it out lol.
