Establishing Direct Contact with Employer after Project Completion.

After completing a project through Guru, how can I work directly with the employer? It was not clear in the terms of service what the limitations are once a project is complete.

Hello all, Good question. According to our Terms of Service (Section 5.E.4), if the business relationship was formed on http://Guru.com, then the expectation is that all current, and future, business transactions will be conducted via http://Guru.com. I hope this helps!

This is a viable question, since I was recently asked by a prospect to work directly with them. I don't wish to violate the TOS. What can I do once the project is completed, as it isn't stated.

Personally I keep everyone on Guru that I find here however I just glanced over the the Terms of Service and I didn't see any mention of taking an employer outside of Guru although I'm guessing they would frown upon it. Another freelance site states you must remain on their site for 12 months before you can venture on your own with the client.
