I wish to submit a proposal/ bid for the following project Medical Writing The problem is that it says not eligible to apply, I am a doctor by profession and medical writing is my forte and I have handled projects on a freelance basis for medical articles. What should I do? I am deeply interested and want to contact the employer about my proposal.

Hi Rekhaa, It appears that the project is listed for those in the United States only. With a basic account, I believe it is your location that is at issue and preventing you from bidding. With a paid Guru or Vendor account you would be able to bid on the project, however with the employer stating a preference for those within the US, you may find that your chances are limited. Unfortunately, this can happen sometimes. In my early days freelancing, I encountered this as well. Take care. :) I WISH TO WRITE SHORT STORIES BASED ON REAL LIFE INCIDENTS. DO I HAVE A SCOPE FOR THE SAME?

If your profile is in the same category as the project is listed in, then it's either they are requesting only Guru Vendors can apply and you have a free membership. Or they are requiring someone in their area.

Hi Rekhaa, If the employer specified certain requirements such as project category, location, language or skills that you do not have in your profile then you will be unable to bid. If you are able to edit your profile to match the requirements you may be able to apply. Hope that helps.
