Is it possible for not post a feedback received by client?

I would like to know if I receive a feedback from client then I have an option to hide the feedback so my future potential clients dont see it. Please confirm. I don't it doesn't show on my star rating as well either.

Blocking power is based on the amount of income you have had in the past, on other projects that you've completed successfully. It's possible that Basic account holders don't have access to this, but I believe you have a Guru account. You should have blocking power there equal to 10% ( I believe) of your accumulated income on Guru. Have you used blocking in the past, thus reducing the amount you have available now?

If there is nothing showing in the blocking power and you have never used it, perhaps you should contact help desk to see if they have further information about this. You can reach them here.

From Guru's Help section:

The number of feedback records you can block depends on the dollar amount of the associated invoices and your current blocking power. Blocking Power may be “spent” on any combination of feedback records as long as the value of the associated invoices does not exceed your Blocking Power.

Find your blocking power displayed at the bottom of the left-hand column of the Manage Feedback page.

Blocking Power Calculation Blocking Power = ($ Cumulative Expenditures X 10%) – Sum[$ Amount blocked]Example: Blocking Power = ($10,000 X 10%) – Sum[$200 + $300]

Blocking Power = ($1,000) – [$500]

Blocking Power = $500

Notes: The “$ Cumulative Expenditures” figure is how much money you have spent on http://Guru.com within the last 12 months. The “$ Amount blocked” is the dollar value of the feedback you have blocked within the last 12 months. Your cumulative expenditures are recalculated every 24 hours. Blocking Power, however, is calculated in real time to account for new feedback blocks imposed.

It seems I am not eligible to block feedback. Please advise how I can go about getting that power.

Hi One Brick Tek,

You can block feedback only if you have enough "blocking power" to do so. You can check this by clicking on the "Manage Feedback" in the Payments & Feedback section on your account page. On the Feedback page, there will be a link on the lower left side for your blocking power.

:)
