I need help on choosing a program and hiring a programmer. I want to use a database of information that includes a seller’s first name, last name, seller #, and list of items sold. I want to individually email all the sellers. I need each seller to only see the list of items they sold on their individual email. I do not want every seller to see what every other seller has sold. What program do you suggest? I also want to do the same thing for each buyer. I would like to hire a programmer to set this up and teach me how to use it. Thx!

Hi Meigan, Have you thought about going over freelancer profiles in the data base design/programming area and looking for those with strong work history and some sample of work you can view? If you find a number of people who are of interest you can contact them and ask questions, and also invite them to bid on your project when you are ready to post it? This puts the control in your hands and also gives you a chance to really see the skill sets of the freelancers without feeling pressured. You may find someone who is a really good fit and open to helping you learn how to maintain what they have set up. Good Luck! :)

You can post your requirements as a job in the Programming and Database section, listing as much detail as possible. Read the proposals of the freelancers who apply and research their profiles. Or, as stated above, you can search for freelancers and invite them to submit proposals.
