Making payment - after project completion?

Hello, I'm new to this Guru world. I have posted a project. I wanted to know when I'm supposed to pay the freelancer? Is it upfront? or once the work is completed and reviewed/satisfied? Thanks

Hi Pramila, You have two options. You can have the freelancer invoice you, or you use the Safepay Escrow service offered by Guru. You will find that most freelancers use this, as it offers protection for both sides via a dispute mechanism, should issues arise later. Within the escrow you can set up milestones (or not), where the freelancer offers you portions of the work at agreed-upon intervals and you in return offer payment.
