I would like to submit more information about the fraudulent employer

I would like to submit more information regarding a fraudulent employer who I suspected would not pay, yet he was assuring me that he would. I turned out to be correct in suspecting his intentions. It also appears he had done it to quite a few people on Guru, as he posted several jobs, and I can't find his original job - so I was wondering, if you could help me pursue his profile and prevent him from creating future profiles.

Kathleen, actually the story goes far beyond the one you mentioned.

Also, since there is a manual option - beyond safe pay - what kind of contract and its reinforcement I get with it?

How can I get the client to small claims court - I do not mind to do the grunt work on reinforcing and often do, but I need the anonymity lifted.

I'm sorry this happened to you. You can submit a ticket by clicking on this link and filling out the details http://www.guru.com/contact.aspx

I do have to say, that, and sorry if I may seem harsh, but it is your responsibility to make sure that the employers account is verified AND Safepay (guru's escrow type of account) is FULLY funded BEFORE you start work no matter what the employer may tell you, promise you, or how convincing he may sound.(such as - Guru (or bank) knows all about it and is fixing it, in the meantime.......)

No funds in Safepay, no work. (even if there's an urgent deadline.) Assurances and promises won't pay your bills.

It is not an employer/employee relationship, BTW. It is a contract for services - so if it is so - there are options here. Otherwise, I would be reporting to the state board, which is not significantly easier, as majority of the times it is towards employer, however, in case of unpaid work, they are on the side of the employee. Again, I need the anonymity lifted.
