Is it possible to retract bids?

I would like a retraction option also. There have been a few projects I've bid on initially only to find out the employer did not disclose all of the information and after the fact there are additional skill sets needed that I am unable to provide. I think it would be useful in the sense that the employer doesn't waste time awarding a project which will be declined and also prevents them from trying to convince a freelancer to work it them anyways.

Thanks for reaching out. To preserve the integrity of the bidding process, a submitted proposal cannot be retracted.

In the event that an Employer awards you a project that you can no longer accept, you do have the option of declining the project award. Declining a project award will not have a negative effect on your profile statistics.
