First of all, complete as much as possible concerning your profile. List your Highlights and your Skills. View other profiles in the same category as you to get an idea of what to enter. but do NOT copy any. Then write the best proposal as you can. If you have a special "niche" or skill, search for jobs within that skil. And just keep submitting proposals. It takes all the above plus a lot of luck. Sometimes you can go months without getting awarded anything. Freelancing is hard work, remember you are competing against thousands of other freelancers for the same job, You have to stand out from all the rest. You have to convience the employer why they should hire you, and what you can do for them.
