How can I make a bonus payment to my freelancer?

I'm happy with the work my freelancer has done. They did much more than they originally bid for. I have finished paying them but I want to add a bonus payment using my credit card. How can I do that?

Guru doesn't offer the "bonus" payment option like some of the other sites do. You would have to tell the freelancer to create an invoice so you can submit additional payment.

This is one feature I wish Guru would add because there are times when employers such as yourself like to reward freelancers.

agree. I'm very pleased with my team, and they continue to advise me without charging. Well worth a bonus. But I prefer they keep the whole thing without the fees. It will be up to them how they want paid.

Please Guru, get your act together and add this feature and this feature SHOULD BE FREE OF THE GREEDY FEES you people charge.

While I think that a bonus payment feature would be nice, I have to disagree that the fees Guru charges are "greedy." I am happy to have a site that allows me protection as a freelancer, and I am willing to share a commission with Guru for that service even on bonuses.

I do agree that Guru provides us with a safe marketplace and a safe way to receive our funds. If an employer would like to pay their freelancer a bonus, I do not feel as though Guru should take a percentage of it. They have already received their project fee when the employer pays for the project to be completed. It is a bonus to the freelancer for outstanding work that they have done, not the work of Guru.

I'd like to add a bonus payment feature as well, there are times when a freelancer deserves one:)
