Does Guru charge me anything if I am the one finding a freelancer and using their safe pay method?

For example, if I award a project to a chosen freelancer and we agree that the price for the project will be 400 dollars. Do I have to pay any additional fees to http://Guru.com for their connecting services? Or will my total after the project is completed to my satisfaction be the quoted price of 400?

Fees to Guru which are the responsibility of the freelancer are taken from a freelancers earnings These fees are sometimes figured into proposal amounts. For example. I bid $100 for your project. When it's finished I actually will get $95 because Guru takes out a percentage. Some freelancers will figure that percentage into their proposal amount and if they want to be paid $100 for your project, knowing that $5 will be taken out for those fees, will submit a proposal for $105. Some freelancers accept those fees, some freelancers will add those fees into the proposals amounts, and some freelancers, will ask for those fees in addition to their proposal. Yeah but then the freelancers would only make $99.75 which is something that's irked me for years. I wish we could just add fees on or the employer had the option to click a box and pay the fees for us. So they would pay $105 and we would get $100.

The freelancer eats the cost of the fees so you will not be charged anything above the quoted bid price.

My freelancer said the 10% was my responsibility. So he requested 10% more than what he quoted me when he asked for the invoice.
