| Highlights: | Although I am involved in “training” I prefer to think of my goal as always designing and implementing effective, user friendly, “learning” programs. It is my belief that a learning based approach produces better results a training approach. It is more focused on the end result which is that the learner understands, and applies, their newly acquired information. As my resume will show, my experience includes working in both higher education as well as the corporate environs. My expertise lies in designing and implementing learning programs that can be delivered via online webinar, asynchronous online tutorials or in face-to-face sessions. Participant involvement and engagement is critical to make any learning opportunity effective. The key is to create a learning environment that is relaxed, enjoyable and most importantly, effective. Creating this type of environment is one of my strengths. I am comfortable appearing in front of any size group. My experience has shown that my tag line of “An outsider’s point of view can often provide new insights” has proven to be correct numerous times. If I can create a learning opportunity for subject matter that I can understand as an outsider then anyone associated with the subject matter should be able to learn the information as well. |
| Work terms: | Payment Method: I prefer that all payments be conducted through the SafePay Escrow program. Only payments made by Check, E-check, or Wire Transfer Funds will be accepted Communication: I prefer that all initial communication prior to the start of a project be done over the phone. Depending on the complexity of a project updates can be done on a weekly basis. The nature of the project will determine whether a review can be done via email wit attachments, by uploading work to a web site, etc. Should you need to contact me I prefer to be reached by e-mail. The frequency of contact is at the discretion of the employer and the complexity of the project.
