| Highlights: | I work with a variety of technologies and I will choose the best one for the job. If you have a linux server, then PHP will be developed. A Windows server will dictate ASP and ASP.NET. I am also a database developer. I will choose the database based on need. Oracle is powerful, but Postgres is built on the same engine for less cost. SQL Server is great, but mySQL can be utilized if stored procedures are not needed. All in all, software projects vary, and I, therefore, am flexible. I will also try to reuse code whenever at all possible. This just ensures faster time to production without sacrificing quality. |
| Work terms: | I believe in utilizing aspects of the Agile methodology: 1) Morning updates (not more than 15 min) 2) Well spelled out requirements (stories) 3) 2 week to 1 month iterations a) We put together a set of features that can be delivered during this period. b) We can schedule time for unplanned requests or defects during an iteration. Working Agile can ensure that software projects appropriately sized and are finished on time. |
