Highlights:I received numerous awards as an artist throughout my college career some for my performance as an artist others for specific pieces that I entered in shows.

I love story-telling and illustration and animation are the vehicle I use to tell stories, be they my own or those of another.

I am an artist but also a business man and have been self employed virtually my entire career. I love the process of creating but also understand the restrictions of business and production therefore I appreciate the need to be organized and conscientious about deadlines.
Work terms:Ideally I prefer to be excited about the project I am working on. If the subject matter of the illustration is something that can be fun and personally intriguing then working on it does not feel at all like work.

Generally I would want to communicate with the client and get a feel for what he or she is looking for, their personal vision, even sketches they have done. I like to understand the style of illustration they are looking for even examples of other artists who created or illustrate in that style. What medium does the client prefer, watercolor, oil, pastel, pen and ink, digital? What time frame are we working with? Does the client want copyrights to the piece? Do they want the original art or a digital version of it?

After I have an idea of what the client wants I give a quote. Fifty percent is required upon acceptance of the proposal and the balance upon successful completion.

I get to create and the client gets to see their ideas come into existence in a fashion more amazing than they could have imagined!
