| Highlights: | I have worked in a multi national company for many years and understand the challenges to working on a team remotely. Unlike some developers, I try to understand the business goals of a project as I want the projects I work on to succeed. I have a great track record with my full time job on delivering projects and tasks on time and within budget. While I am working full time, I am freelancing on www.guru.com to keep pace with new technologies and broaden my horizons. Please note, I will only be able to commit to part time (10 - 15 hours/week) toward a project. However, if a project is supported by Java or a related technology, you'll find I can produce deliverables at a fast pace. |
| Work terms: | Payment Method: SafePay Escrow only Communication: Phone or email (preferred). I'm flexible on the frequency of correspondence, but I'm comfortable with project status and updates at least twice a week. General Availability: I am generally available from 7:30 PM EST - 10:30 PM EST on the week days. I can be contacted during the weekend as well, but I can't make any guarantees on my availability. Feedback / Endorsement: Please leave honest feedback on my Guru account once the project or transaction has been completed. I will in turn provide feedback on the project and work terms. Code of Ethics / Guarantee Policy: I aim to develop code that is generally bug free. Before I begin coding however, the requirements of the project must be clearly documented (in written form) for me to code against. Changes to requirements will potentially require a change to coding in progress, testing, and timelines. I attempt to do some level of negative (as well as positive) testing. If needed, I can provide documentation to assist in requirements gathering, a high level design, test cases, etc, which I can align with either a waterfall or agile project methodology. I will guarantee or fix bugs at the same the project rate, up to two weeks after a project is considered completed. If an issue is a new requirement though, then I will ask that a new project be initiated for new requirements. My goal is to help make your business successful, and I want my code to help you succeed! |
