| Highlights: | I have a passion for utilizing technology in creative, sometimes seemingly unconventional ways to address the challenges that face business-owners today. While working at Pixar Animation Studios, I designed a custom, web-based security application that decreased both visitor wait time, and officer call response time, increased reporting accuracy, and significantly reduced the negative environmental impact as well as the associated cost of the paper waste. I also co-wrote an accompanying iPhone app. In larger, wildly successful companies, waste in business processes and resources can go unnoticed far longer than in small to medium-sized businesses. For obvious reasons, now more than ever, business-owners have to be incredibly discerning when it comes to where, and when, to invest. With so many legitimate needs vying for your money, It's easy to be tempted to save money when it comes to business technology. However, the opportunity cost of a cookie-cutter application that almost meets your needs, is far more damaging to the bottom line than investing in a custom application that will work for you.
