| Additional skills: | Mechanical engineering and design specializing in injected molded plastic as well as stamped and overmolded products. I also have experience producing application equipment and automated assembly machines for components of a larger assembly. Design concepts can be taken from a series of specifications all the way through mold/die design and anywhere in between. Colorful renderings can be created from a rough concept as well as full detailed drawing packages. I also have some experience writing NC code for machines assuming I have (or can be provided with) the relevant post-processor for Pro/NC. I have also operated both 3D printers and selective-laser sintering rapid prototypers and can design parts specifically for ease of use with these machines. I enjoy working with 3D CAD (especially Pro/Engineer) so I would be happy do small design concepts as well as full production jobs. I am adept at Pro/Engineer, Autodesk Inventor, and AutoCAD (up to version 2001), as well as all common Windows and Mac software (Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Word, ect.). |
