Tom Firak has over 30 years experience in
photography. He started working in the darkroom at Kraft Foods while
studying photography at night at Columbia College in Chicago. He spent
5 1/2 years at the Kraft photo studio where he refined his talents in
food photography.

In 1978 he opened his own commercial studio in
Chicago. He works in traditional as well as digital formats. Location
photography is another specialty of the Firak Studio. His work regulary
appears in national advertisements for leading consumer product
companies. Tom's work has been on exhibit in Chicago several times in
