| Highlights: | Originally I was going to tell you all to sit back and relax, maybe grab a coffee, or a pop, or a Red Bull, or whatever you crazy kids are into these days, and get ready for some eye-glazing action. Then I realized you may just want the relevant information and not a biography. So short and concise it is.
I have about three years experience with a very wide array of clients and mediums. I have designed ads, flyers, posters, clothing, logos, business cards, vinyl stickers, banners, signs, various layouts, a few websites and web pages, comic strips, comics, and have done many paintings, illustrations, and character designs. Having worked in the business world I know the demands those clients often require in attempting to get that simple and clean, yet powerful and eye-catching imagery. But Im also a comic geek at heart and know my comics, sci-fi, and fantasy. Add in the fact that Im in a band and pursue movies and books at every opportunity, and theres very little I havent had a chance to experience to some extent. All these things also help clue me in to what the market demands, who the client is targeting, and have helped push my abilities. The most important thing they do, though, is allow me to give my clients more options because I can create art that can be used in various mediums and marketing campaigns. Now you dont need to hire three or four companies or freelancers and then go through the hassle of trying to get them all on the same page with your vision. Just consider me your one-stop shop. I love being given new challenges and have no problems burning the candle at both ends to make sure everything is completed on time. I realize there is often a lot of back-and-forth planning, changes, and redrafts in this line of work, and have plenty of patience for the many stages. (I teach Drivers Ed part time, so patience isnt a problem. And on a side note; oddly enough being that close to death just makes me want to sleep.) One thing I feel I should make you aware of, however, is that I am a devout Christian. Though I believe that speaks for my character, work ethic, and honesty in doing your work, it also means there may be some offers I will not take if they go against my moral or ethical code. On the flip side, however, this also means I have no problem doing religious based work which some artists are apparently allergic to. If you feel I am suited for your needs, drop me a line and well get started. If youd like to see more samples of my work or read more of my rants feel free to visit my website. Its free, and if you have a slow enough connection you can watch a stick man dance the night away while waiting for the site to load. I suppose I should wrap this up, now, so to make a long story short; Ill do just about any type of art I can get my hands on, whether it be old school, by hand creations or that fancy computer stuff. So heres to the future and all the cool developments were about to make. Brett Hibbler |
| Work terms: | Since this is the first time we will have worked together the payment schedule will follow a much more standard agreement. Initially, a payment of 25% must be received before work will begin. Depending on the length and number of stages involved in completing the project one of two variations will occur: A) If multiple stages and/or a lengthy deadline are involved a faze payment must be received upon delivery and acceptance of a predetermined amount of work from me. If the project has no set fazes or a fluctuating deadline the use of a retainer may be requested. Final payment will be received upon completion of the project after acceptance by you. B) If a short deadline is in effect and/or the project is determined by me to be achievable in a two payment workload; payment of the remainder owed will be received upon completion of the project after acceptance by you. Before any work shall begin a mutual agreement on rights and terms of use regarding any work created will be discussed and paperwork completed if and where necessary. Also, a kill fee may be discussed in the event the project has the potential to be canceled before completion. If everything goes smoothly and to the satisfactory of both parties, a new payment outline can be discussed and created for future work. Brett Hibbler |
