Highlights:A passion for filmmaking and a background in computer science has guided my professional goals for the past 6 years. As a digital video producer/editor I have mastered today's preferred editing software, Final Cut Pro, while understanding the art of visual storytelling. My editing experience has allowed me to accurately portray the vision of other producers I may be working with. I have also authored fully interactive DVDs with DVD Studio Pro. Most recently, at Takoma Park City TV, an increased responsibility for directing live broadcasts, producing TV shows, equipment upgrades and repair, has only furthered my knowledge of the industry.
As a DV videographer I have learned the importance of lighting, framing, capturing quality audio, white balancing for natural colors and shooting with post-production in mind. Whether I am filming a world-renowned AP photojournalist's 90th birthday celebration or shooting a short piece on the re-opening of a community pool, I strive to capture the essence of my subject.



The ever changing world of film/video production, fuels my ambition to further my knowledge in this field. In addition, I believe that attention to detail and a strong work ethic make me the ideal candidate for the intriguing opportunities available on Guru.com. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Work terms:I have a very flexible work schedule, so my ideal work terms are not very rigid. I prefer projects where I am learning at the same time. Professional quality media is a plus because the final product is a great resume builder. In addition, i would like to work on projects that help me increase speed and efficiency, so that i may offer my services to as many prospective clients as possible.
