Highlights:With over 20 years experience as a professional writer, I am a seasoned pro who has proven herself in a variety of fields, including grant writing, fiction writing, web content writing, media materials writing, and memoir writing. I have raised over $100 million in grant funds for clients in over 20 states and I am a published author. My versatility and creativity serve my clients well. I am eager to take on new projects and branch out into new areas. I want to learn about the work that excites you.

My grant writing experience is strongest in developing large collaborative federal grants. I have written a lot of U.S. Dept. of Education and HHS grants. I am very successful with SAMHSA. I have also written for HUD, IMLS, NEH, NEA, DOJ, OJJDP, OMH, and others. I have successfully written many specialized state grants as well. My areas of expertise are children, families, health, education, substance abuse prevention and treatment, mental health, literacy, juvenile justice, employment development, and diversity. I have specialized knowledge about Native American, Latino, and African American cultural issues, particularly as they relate to health, education, and mental health.
Work terms:I would prefer to accept payment through Guru's SafePay Escrow to begin with and would entertain another payment method once a working relationship is established.

I prefer to communicate via phone and email and am easily accessible to you during regular business hours PST.

I will only work with a client once we have a signed contract, which is often a simple letter of agreement. (Faxed or scanned signature acceptable.)
