Highlights:A lifelong resident of the pacific northwest, I was born in Tacoma, Washington and now live in Puyallup, Washington - about 45 miles southeast of Seattle. I've been writing since I was about 8 years old; I wrote a script for a puppet show that some friends and I put togther to amuse our parents and neighbors. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting for "that big fat royalty check" from my family from that venture!

Work terms:I've been providing excellent writing, editing and graphics services for a long time. I've also been a business owner. More than once. I'm a team player, and I behave like one.

You won't have any communication problems when we work together, but I won't bother you with questions five days after getting the assignment that should have been addressed during our initial meeting or conversation. I understand that time wasted is money wasted; when you hand the ball off to me I know not only where to run with it but also how to run with it. And I'm not prone to fumbles!

I'm a smart "out of the box" thinker and manager. My research skills and methods are outstanding. I understand words like demographics, targeting, and audience. I understand that good writing is something that will appeal to an 80 year-old grandmother, a middle aged male construction worker and a 13 year old teenager-all at the same time.

I also understand that in media you have about 3-5 seconds to get your target audiences attention. So trust me, I know my work has to be good. And it is.
