The only aspect of the original logo that wanted to keep was the planet Saturn. They wanted Saturn to be the focal point of the logo. Background:
In the Past the BIOENERGY Conference was only about taking Spruce Trees and making would pellets and burning the pellets to create Hydro Energy.
However the scope of the conference has expanded, to include wind, solar, bio-diesel, thermo,... on and on... and the current image no longer reflects the new direction.
LOGO IDEA:
Client was looking for something that would reflect BIOENERGY on a big picture scale... not individual technologies... i.e. wind, solar, hydro...
However they still wanted forestry to be the foundation... that can just be reflected in using the forest green color in the logo.
Logo must be a stand alone image... example would the nike swoosh... the image would be used in other branding as icons on a website, for example.

Client was looking for an artist to create a logo for Mobile Truck & Tire.
Client waned the typeface to be "Impact", with font color "yellow", with a "green" stroke. Client also requested the typeface to be set over a tire tread type pattern that appears behind Mobile Truck & Tire as a vector-like outline. The tire blocks should not be filled in, only the outlines of each little tread block. The desire is the logo is printable, and should be made in two variants. The first variant is the logo appears over black tread blocks, the second over white tread blocks. The tread blocks of the tire tracks should extend slightly beyond the text on both sides of "Mobile Truck & Tire".
