Used PHP 5 with linux shell scripts/utilities to create backend rss aggregator for flash application. Heavy xslt and a few well-placed regular expressions kept the code high-level and declarative. Also assisted with Flash actionscript.

Payroll CD Organizer
Payroll data comes in via CD from payroll vendor. Each CD contains a collection of PDF reports and one main PDF that has links to the different reports. I wrote an HTML Application using heavy client-side DHTML and the MSXML parser to gather information from the index pdf and create an XML index (with indexes within the index for drop-down performance) of the CD's contents. This index is appended for every CD indexed. The CD's contents are then copied to the folder on the computer running the application so that the actual report is displayed by clicking the title.
