I've learned a lot at big agencies, but I realized that they were focused on revenue rather than what was genuinely in the best interest of a client. My passion, and it is a passion, is working with small businesses to help them strategically grow. A good marketer asks questions and listens. Ideally, I do not seek a long-term engagement, but rather evaluate market, implement strategies to achieve goals, and eventually empower/educate you to manage the day-to-day process. I keep things simple and manageable.
I am working with a non-profit martial arts studio in a suburban area that is opening in June. In 3 weeks, I've gotten Facebook, Twitter, 4Square, YouTube, Blog, & search engine visibility. They offer a Women's Self-Defense workshop once a month. Thanks to Facebook, we've already gotten them booked thru September as well as several corporate seminars.
The women are influencers for children and husbands, so it's a subtle method to 'touch' them. We are donating proceeds each month's self-defense course to a different charity, thus having them promote it to their followers as well. We are considering expanding the course to 2x a month.
Other than paying for my services, they have not spent a dime for marketing other than their sign.
If you are seeking the cheapest solution you can get, we are not a fit. I will not be competitive with an off-shore provider. However, I also know how to maximize local resources that they will not. Your project deserves success.

If you believe you have a product or service that the market needs, but you aren't effectively 'telling the story', I will do that. If you seek a dirt-cheap price, we are not a fit. However, if you want a pro that will deliver a more robust, strategic plan of attack, I'm your marketeer. Often my plans require less capital to implement because I take the time to understand my client and the market before wasting their money. |
