It's my passion for writing, diverse background, and ability to accomplish
difficult tasks in a fast paced environment that separates my writing from the pack.
As a veteran writer with over 10 years experience, I have accomplished the following: Three and a half years experience as a technical writer for a "tier one" supplier in
the automotive industry. In this fast-paced position, I
wrote well over 700 sets of repair instructions for a variety of different
wiring components our company produced without missing a deadline. I used blueprints
extensively, wrote a training film script and won a cash award for creating a
company wide database and authoring the accompanying work instructions. In
the performance of my duties, I worked diligently as both a writer and a liaison
between engineers, management, and general laborer to get the mission
accomplished.
Prior to this, I wrote several grants and
fundraising appeal letters as Executive Director of non-profit agency. As a result, I was able to secure well over a half-million
dollars in operating expenses over a two year period. Before being promoted to
this position, I worked as a Program Coordinator in the same industry and was often tasked with writing newspaper articles and
promotional materials for the agency. Previous to this, I established myself as
a real estate salesperson and creator of two different web-based businesses,
creating numerous brochures, webpage content and business correspondence.
