Throughout the years, I have proven myself to be highly adapable and a quick study, capable of learning just about anything quickly and well. I have worked in every job environment from factory floors to corporate headquarters, and I know how to handle all those situations in a way that shows I know what I'm doing.
I am self-disciplined and can keep myself focused and productive with little direct supervision. At the same time, I am quite adept at working within teams, knowing how to fit myself to the needs of the current work culture.
My adaptability and self-direction are best illustrated by my work in one job where I had to document a quite complex software system. The employers wanted API documentation, which I had never done before and knew almost nothing about. Using the Web I taught myself about API documents and obtained, installed, and configured the software I needed. At the end of my project I had created a system that was fully automatic and would, every week, create updated API documentation for a library of object-oriented software that included 11 packages containing more than 54,000 class files.
