Work Terms

Grant writing: I can work within your time frame, with a bit of a premium for rush jobs. I have a standard work-for-hire contract we can look at in addition to the Guru contract. Guru Escrow does not work well for grant writing because of the longer time frame involved. I generally find Guru Invoice offers plenty of protection for both of us.
No grant writer should ever work on commission for grant proposals. If you Google grant writer, commission, ethical, you will see many reasons why. Please be cautious of any grant writer that would work on commission.
Editing/collaborating/ghost writing: Generally, I take payment up front if under $1,000.00. If over $1,000.00, installments are negotiable. I love telling your story and have had fabulous experiences with all kinds of memoirs and other books. I partner with you to create an exciting, publishable story, whether fiction or nonfiction.
