I am a freelance writer, broadcaster and translator based in Mexico City.
My ten years of professional experience in these fields include a number of freelance projects, staff positions as a broadcast and print journalist, Spanish-English translation, environmental campaigning at a London PR and lobbying firm, opinion writing, and communications management for two national, non-profit organizations in the USA and the United Kingdom.
I have written for The Guardian and BBC News online, In Madrid, as well as numerous trade publications devoted to the subjects of design, transportation and the environment. As a broadcast journalist, I worked for Localia Television in Madrid, Spain, and covered the Madrid mayoral elections of 2003, as well as international politics.
I am versatile in adapting the style of my work to the demands of different markets and geographical locations. Over the past ten years I have also worked in Andalusia, Philadelphia, Amsterdam, Houston, and throughout the American Midwest.
My educational background is in Politics and Philosophy. I have an MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy from the London School of Economics, and a BA in Philosophy (Concentration: Human Rights Law) from Temple University.

Whenever possible, I prefer to communicate about projects via email and Skype.
I can always be contacted Monday through Friday, 9-6. However, I also make myself available during evenings and weekends depending on the demands of particular projects.
