My preferrence is to be able to design remotely.
I would CAD work based on terms agreed upon for the entire proejct
Usually, I take payments in insallments, as the work progresses. It also how most of my contracts are drawn up.
Fees are usually based on construction cost of a project, but that may not be the case if the project is too simple or complex An hourly rate can also be applied.
I work fast, and so simpler projects may benefit from an hourly rate.
I am in the state of Colorado, and so would not be averse to visiting sites in neighbouring states.
