Highlights

I have worked with CAD and GIS software continuously during the last ten years in various capacities. I have performed these tasks in the educational and professional arenas. Some examples of CAD and GIS projects I have been involved with are: Boundary Surveys, As Built Designs for commercial developments, Structural Design for Office Buildings, Data Conversion for Municipal GIS, Base map creation for large scale GIS projects, Image analysis and integration for municipal GIS development, basic 3D modeling of small scale mechanical systems, basic 3D modeling of architectural designs and layouts. I have been able to utilize many of the current software packages (AutoCad, Microstation, ArcGIS, Erdas, ArchiCad, Intellicad) and currently use AutoCAD and GrassGIS for all my design projects. I have used Mathcad and Matlab to perform advanced analysis on digital imagery and modeling of data that helped in completing some small scale projects, mostly having to do with land surveying and environmental modeling. I do volunteer work with a couple of open source projects (OpenOffice, Grass GIS) as I have time, focusing primarily on the documentation components. I have experience with all MS Office products and utilize OpenOffice software for much of my work today. I have developed presentations for clients, coworkers and project managers illustrating anything from software comparisons to outlining project checkpoint analysis.

Payment Method

I require that SafePay Escrow be utilized for all business transactions to ensure the financial safety of my client and me. There may be occasion for a different method, but I reserve the right to deny any requests for any reason.

Communication

I prefer communication through email or IM as I will be online during specific hours during the day that are dedicated for work. I will take calls during working hours but may take up to one business day to return calls made after unless prior arrangements have been made requiring off hours phone conversations. For example, if you were preparing to submit a final plan tomorrow and needed something corrected or explained before doing so.

Availability

My working hours will be 6am to 2pm MST, Monday through Thursday. I am available in the evening, but only on a limited basis.
