Work Terms

Prefer to provide proposal on all projects to define the scope of services. Projects can be priced using various methods but prefer to convert proposal to lump sum. Can base proposal on price per square foot, man hour budget, percent of MEP construction costs, hourly rate, or fixed fee for repetitive work.

Additional services provided at hourly rate. One time submittal review, request for information processing can be included in base proposal. Prefer contract administration (on site inspections, meetings, etc.) to be provided as additional services to allow client to use as little or as much service as needed.

Prefered methods of communication are email, telephones, and FTP site. However, all forms from old fashioned hard copy and verbal, to the latest electronic methods. Can easily accept landline telephone, wireless telephone, blackberry, mail, express delivery services, fax, email, instant messenger, teleconference, FTP site, online project management websites, etc.

We work with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat PDF, AutoDesk DWF and other file formats and prefer to send everything electronically. Hardcopies are not a problem, but need to be considered as part of proposal.

Typical reimbursables include all travel costs outside of our offices (hourly rate, mileage, meals, flights, hotels), permit services, advertisements, fees. Local travel minimum is 4 hours, long distance travel is 12 hours minimum.
