Design. Illustration, Animation.
In business as an independent creative resource to the design, advertising and architectural communities since 1984, my work has included the design of museums and information centers, architecture, commercial signage, retail environments, fixturing, events, theatre and trade show exhibits.
Digital illustration and animation became an extension of my business a over a decade ago, and now represent a large percentage of my work. My 3D illustration is usually photorealistic visualization, but I often combine it with image editing and painting software to achieve a variety of styles. I specialize in architectural, environmental, product and technical illustration, but the sky is the limit on subject matter and technique, and I pride myself on being able to achieve a broad array of style.
As a business owner, I understand that organizations invest in creative talent to promote activity that will achieve business objectives, and I approach all my work from that perspective. I have been involved in every facet of the creative process, from concepting and visualization through implementation and assessment, giving me a unique appreciation for the connection between creativity and the realization of concrete objectives.

Work Terms
|
I prefer to communicate with my clients over the phone, particularly when discussing the criteria and parameters of a project, and believe that voice contact daily is important, both for the continuity of the project, and development of the business relationship. I frequently use Skype for video conferencing. Email is fine for dealing with the daily nuts and bolts. I am always available during business hours on the weekdays.
When appropriate, I post daily web based reviews of work in progress.
