Overview: I am an experienced freelance translator for Chinese and English. A Chinese citizen, I typically split each year between the US and China. My unique position bridging these two cultures grants me the vision to create especially accurate and localized translations in both languages.

My name is Ivy Feng, and I do 100% of my own work. I never outsource to cheap agencies overseas or use computers to do the bulk of my translation for me. If you're looking for a professional who understands that translation is more than simply switching one word for another, that culture and audience must be taken into account, then you've come to the right place.

Services: I provide professional translations to and from Simplified or Traditional Chinese and English. I also offer proofreading and editing services in Chinese. I have solid experience translating everything from technical user manuals to legal contracts to social dating websites.

Every document I translate is proofread with meticulous detail to ensure the utmost accuracy and quality, and I will firmly set and calibrate your text for the particular field and target audience. I also contract with a fellow translator to provide an independent review of every text. This independent proofreading is completely free of charge; it's at my expense to ensure I provide the most accurate finished copy possible!

I prefer to use SafePay Escrow and I feel that this is the safest method of working for client and contractor, but other methods are acceptable.
