I am a stickler with a creative bent.
In the business world, I worked in human resources and was responsible for writing much of the employee communication, from company party invitations to the company newsletter.
I enjoy doing research and organizing information. A local foundation praised my grant submission as one of the best they'd ever received.
At church, I am often asked to write short dramas, most of them humorous. I have directed several skits as well and am also an actor in the local community theater. These experiences help me visualize the message of a drama more effectively.
I have a habit of proofreading almost everything I read. I own the book, Eats, Shoots & Leaves.
Personally, I have had a magazine article and a poem published.
