BLINK Design offers a full Custom Design and Project Management services for diverse clients. We work closely with Bulldog Construction offering Design-Build contracts as well.
We provide full consultations or 'quickies' depending on your needs though please be reasonable, excellent solutions take time. The ideal client is someone who remains involved in the process. As a former design professor, I am happy to patiently explain and to keep you abreast of the solution as it unfolds. Your input most certainly is included in the final results. Absentee clients significantly hinder the final results.
Last, we prefer a challenge! Conceptual Design varies from functional design and concepts inspire unique form in a specific context or environment (site). Most any idea or concept may become a building. We encourage brave ideas. Creating a building may be the most adventurous choice you make during your lifetime.

Work Terms

By written, signed contract or GURU equivalent outlining the scope of work, project program and terms of payment (hourly or mutually agreeable lump sum fee).
Require milestone payments per contractual agreement and a retainer / mobilization fee to ensure client commitment and to cover our start-up expenses.
I am aware that clients are taking a risk when they hire a design consultant, but it is important to understand that the designer is also taking a risk with their time. Please review my portfolio, ask for additional images from past work or better yet, give us a call to resolve any uncertainties or curiosities you might have.
All contractual problems are alleviated with open communication from start to finish. My terms are flexible and will be customized to your specific needs. We will resolve a full service or limited services architectural contract per your specific design needs or a full design-build contract to include building construction and construction management in association with Bulldog Construction.
