MoreBeach.com
Description:
Helped create and develop MoreBeach.com, a website dedicated to New England beach information. The premise was originally to be a Cape Cod & Islands regional beach guide. The site has since grown into a major resource for regional waterfront sports/vacations/lifestyles. Researched and wrote descriptions for 554 public beaches from Maine to Long Island, building pages in Dreamweaver then migrating them into Mambo/Joomla.

Name:
Amy Neswald
Description:
Portfolio website created for a Manhattan-based filmmaker and screenwriter. Her main criteria were a quirky but professional visual style and the ability to self-manage content. WordPress was the obvious choice for a development platform, as it provides a powerfully simple CMS interface for her to update pages. WP is also an excellent format for implementing larger scale web projects like this site, with15 total pages.

Stronger Spirit Qigong
Description:
This website was developed for a Cape Cod area Qigong instructor who wanted to showcase her skills and provide potential clients with information and resources related to the ancient Chinese art and also Tai Chi. She provided me with copious copy and some photos. I then built a stylized XHTML/CSS template for her, formatting all the content within it.

SEA Artworks
Description:
Portfolio site created for an industrial artist. I organized over 150 photos into a series of four galleries and built the site using Blogger. His one request was the ability to update the gallery personally, so this was achieved through a web gallery plugin giving him FTP access to publish content live on the server.

Name:
Cape Cod Bike Guide
Description:
CCBG is a free informational resource for bicycling on the Cape & Islands. I aggregated, researched and wrote all the content for this website from scratch. Aside from being a great content development project, it was also a labor of love. I was an avid cyclist at the time and drew on personal local knowledge for practically all the trail descriptions. Additionally, all the site photography was shoot by me.
