I consult with medical practices for Electronic Health Records implementation, HIPAA compliance, meaningful use attestation, and internet marketing. .

I have been implementing, developing, and training users on electronic health records software since November 2005. I perform and manage technical details such as installation and configuration of workstations, software, networking, troubleshooting, and maintenance. I also manage and perform the human side of implementation such as training, project management, support, and work flow consulting.

I also work with practices in security and HIPAA compliance consulting. HIPAA compliance is more important than ever due to the amendments introduced by the HITECH Act. Medical practices face a greater risk of audit, prosecution, and fines. In addition, HIPAA compliance is now tied into the HITECH meaningful use program.

Consulting for HITECH Stimulus meaningful use attestation is one of my most important responsibilities. The stimulus program will award physicians money for purchasing and implementing electronic health records software. However, a detailed analysis and implementation plan is crucial to participation.

Payment terms negotiable. I prefer SafePay Escrow for first-time clients. I will also accept check, e-check, or paypal.

I prefer electronic communications such as email or instant message when possible. Skype, office phone, and mobile phone are acceptable. I prefer voice communications be kept to a minimum as they impede productivity more than text-based forms. However, whatever communications are necessary to complete the project will be fine.
