* New Debit Card Number Expansion: Upon implementation, this project will
increases the Bank's ability to issued Debit Cards on the West Coast.
* Instant Issue (Pilot): This $250K proof-of-concept implementation in the
Chicago and Phoenix markets was designed to gauge the market penetration of
putting a permanent Visa Check Cards into the hands of its customers in the
Banking Centers and drive down the usage/adoption rate from 19 to 5 days.
Pilot touted internally as an overwhelming success.
* SafeSend: The successful implementation of this $2.3M project will allow the
bank to generate billions of dollars in under 10 years. This new banking product
provides U.S based BAC customers with a Western-Union-like service to send
funds to family back in Mexico via Bank of America Mexico (BANAMEX) and
its partner network.
