I prefer to work offsite/remote. Any required travel will be payed by the employer and will be negotiated separately. My typical weekly hrs are assumed to be 30 hrs/wk as I have other projects/activities I may be working on. Any additional hrs/wk will need to be approved prior to project start. I require 10% down up front, and then equally divisive payments every two weeks through-out the project. Full payment is due upon project completion.
Scope/Activities/Role Changes: Hours and scope will be predetermined to the best of our abilities prior to project start. A 5% allowance is assumed for project modifications. If the project modifications increase greater than 5% an assessment will be performed to determine the scope and a new bid/rate assessement will be completed as needed. It is my right to approve/reject my affiliation with project modifications.
10% Down Example: Fixed Bid: 160 Hours (or 5.33 weeks) @ $125/hr Total Project Cost: $20,000.00 10% Down: $2,000.00 Week 2 Pmt: $6000.00 Week 4 Pmt: $6000.00 End of Project Pmt: $6000.00
If Hourly Bid: Total hours will be determined & 10% of those hours will be due at project start. The remainder will be dispersed every two weeks in averaged payments until project completion in which the remaining total is due.
