Payment Terms: For jobs under $500, payment is usually required once client approves final deliverables; for jobs over $500, generally (with some exceptions), 50% of final estimated payment is due before work begins, with any residual payment due once client approves final deliverable.

Communication: I pride myself on providing clear, consistent and frequent communication with the client. I spend considerable time developing and detailing scopes of work to ensure an adequate comfort level for both parties. While I work full-time, I strive to be accessible and generally try to respond to requests within 2 hours (in some cases delivering what's requested or acknowledging receipt of inquiry and providing clear action plan).

Customer Service: As someone who understands consumer markets and what is required to achieve excellent customer service, my client's ultimate satisfaction is my number one priority. This may mean that I spend a bit more time up front to ensure complete understanding on scope, timeline and deliverables but in the end it is worth it for both parties involved.

Pricing: Pricing is generally negotiable notwithstanding posted minimums. Potential (though not guaranteed, of course) opportunities for future work may allow for lower pricing in particular to clients that are not familiar with my work.
