Highlights
|
I have a diverse range of engineering, management and entrepreneurial experience which I draw upon to find creative solutions to complex problems. My degrees are in Chemical Engineering (masters), Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (bachelors), all from the University of Michigan. The projects I engage in require innovation, technology development, new product/process commercialization. A few examples include:
- The design and development a of a novel “Leidenfrost” chemical reactor and associated support systems. Managing the build of the pilot plant. The design the full scale commercial process.
- The design of a 5000 gallon multi-stage photobio reactor to grow microalgae for use in biofuel. Managing the building and construction.
- Leading the business and technology development of a new consumer electronic (an NDA prevents further details).
- Started a vitamin supplement company which developed a pill with ingredients that have been reported to deter mosquitoes from biting. (www.bite-amins.com)
- Provide expert witness testimony and accident reconstruction testing to defense side litigation.
- During college, started a successful waterski and wakeboard school which I grew to be the second largest operation in the Midwest United States.
