Brian Lentz is Texas CADDpro® with 40 years of experience in electro-mechanical engineering, design & drafting and 24 years of experience with various CAD platforms. My AutoCAD skills date back to 1984, Pro/ENGINEER to 1989, and SolidWorks to 1995. Considered a CAD expert by my peers, I have authored several articles on AutoCAD and Pro/E, lectured on uses of Pro/PROGRAM, and trained many new users on these three CAD platforms.
I am a Certified SolidWorks Professional and also hold and EIT License, No. XE073070. My education and background provide me with sound skills and experience that make me a valuable member to any project team. In addition, I have excellent customer and vendor liaison skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Past projects have included agricultural & industrial machinery, hot melt adhesive & material handling equipment, telecommunications enclosures and cabinets, microwave vacuum tubes for military and scientific applications, robotic and semi-automatic material processing systems, semiconductor test interface and docking systems, semiconductor process equipment, automotive, aerospace & military parts & systems & sub-systems, endoscope test unit, pumps for the oil industry as well as for medical (heart surgery) applications.

Work Terms
|
I can provide a standard consulting contract and NDA form to be signed before work is begun. An excerpt from the contract follows:
2. Services to be Performed Contractor agrees to perform the following services for Client: Contractor will design and document Client's product and/or product components, hereafter referred to as Product. Initial design and documentation (ID&D) shall be sufficient for a manufacturer to produce the first Product prototype. 3. Time for Performance Contractor will perform the services according to the Schedule of Work set forth in Attachment 1 attached to and made part of this Agreement. 4. Payment Client will pay Contractor as follows: $__/hr. 5. Terms of Payment Contractor shall be paid according to the Schedule of Payments set forth in Attachment 1 attached to and made part of this Agreement. Contractor will submit weekly invoices to Client for all services performed. Client shall pay Contractor within 15 days from the date of invoice. 6. Late Fees Late payments by Client may be subject to late penalty fees of 0.67% per month from the due date until the amount is paid. 7. Limited Liability This provision allocates the risks under this Agreement between Contractor and Client. Contractor's pricing reflects the allocation of risk and limitation of liability specified below. Contractor's total liability to Client under this Agreement for damages, costs and expenses shall not exceed the compensation received by Contractor under this Agreement.
