*Designing test, production & quality inspection fixtures for the production of FDA approved catheters and ancillary equipment used in vascular brachytherapy
Design of PLC enclosures IAW NEMA standards & guidelines.
* Designed wiring diagrams, controls and instrumentation for an automated grate saw, 3-axis cycling machine & tack strip machine.
* Engineer submittal approval packages to include Bills of Materials.
* Created, installed and implemented application for an automated saw employing PLC's which milled and sawed aluminum extrusions from stock lengths to incremental lengths from 2" to 24".
* Designed and programmed a three axis cycling machine in 3D of with the aid of Autocad. Cycle machine motions are controlled with Star linear actuators and Indramat servomotors and controllers. This machine is needed to test expansion joints and fire barriers for failure and range-of-motion.
* Use C++ to develop programs, which calculate loading and shear results.
* Designed and created 2D & 3D details of standard and custom expansion joint systems.
* Designed metal and polymer extrusions used in expansion joint systems.
* Provided technical support of software and hardware within department.
