I am especially interested in creative design, engineering design, and/or writing projects that will benefit from my cross-cultural and cross-industry background.
My work experience has been in Research and Development. My emphasis is on design and testing projects that include computer modeling, hand-built prototyping, and graphic design. I conduct and oversee product installation and field testing. I am also involved in writing and editing of company policy documentation, correspondence, reports, and proposals.
I have a strong language background and experience creating, editing, and translating professional documents. Privately a practiced and enthusiastic writer, I strive to provide a creative edge to my work that maintains contact with the reader.
Raised in a German household, I am a native speaker of both German and English. I maintain my German proficiency by regular contact with family and German literature. My interest and affinity for language, expression, and communication led me to study Spanish at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga (UTC). I further augmented my oral proficiency with Spanish through exchange programs overseas and regular interaction with Hispanic communities.
